League of Legends Items

Items are the most necessary part of any battle because they give you the advantage of attacking and do other work. An item is a modular enhancement that the player can equip in-game, usually purchasable for gold. The list of items is large and is also specific to the kind of work you want to do in the game. Let’s have a look at this.

General Categories of Items

There are five categories normally followed when it comes to the items. The first category is Defense in which you can purchase items related to Health, Magic Resist, Health Regenerate, and Armor.

The second category of items is Attack in which you can purchase items related to Damage, Critical Strike, Attack Speed, Life Steal, Armor Penetration. Then comes the Magic category of items in which you can purchase Mana, Mana Regen, Ability Power, Cooldown Reduction, etc.

Moreover, there is an item list of maps that you can purchase, such as Summoner’s Rift, Twisted Treeline, and Howling Abyss. 

How to obtain Items?

You can do it to the shop in the game to purchase items. But remember, the inventory given to you in the game can only hold up to 6 items, so purchase and use it wisely. The selection of the items will determine your victory apart from your skills. 

The Quality Tiers of Items

The items also follow a quality tier just like the players. But these quality tiers exclude certain categories such as consumables or boots items. Let’s take a look, but remember, you can carry one tier at a time, so be careful about choosing.

Starter

It is the one which you will get at the start of the game, so it will not be that powerful. But the good thing about this is that it is sustainable. Some of the starter items are Cull, Doran’s Blade, Doran’s Ring, Doran’s Shield, Emberknife, etc.

Basic

The items that lie in this tier give you some sort of meager benefit and you will be able to do some kind of damage to the opponents. For example, Amplifying Tome, B.F.Sword, Blasting Wand, Cloak of Agility, Cloth Armor, Sapphire Crystal, Spectral Sickel, etc.

Epic

Items present in this tier can actually give you passive benefits and really effective. The best thing about these items is that you can use them against the legendary tier items. For example, Aegis of the Legion, Aether Wisp, Bami’s Cinder, Bandleglass Mirror, Blighting Jewel, Hearthbound Axe, Hexdrinker, Hextech Alternator, etc.

Legendary

These items provide a special effect and substantial passive benefits. Some of the Legendary items: Abyssal Mask, Archangel’s Staff, Ardent Censer, Banshee’s Veil, Black Cleaver, Black Mist Scythe, etc.

Mythic

These items provide substantial passive benefits along with a powerful special effect. For example, Divine Sunderer, Duskblade of Draktharr, Eclipse, Everfrost, Frostfire Gauntlet, etc.

Upgrading of Items

However, you do not have to worry that you have to wait for a while to achieve the best tier. You can do it by using the gold coins which you earn by completing different tasks. You can simply go to the shop and purchase whatever you want to and upgrade your items.
